A New Treatment Approach for clients who identify strongly with various religious and spiritual longings and conflicts.

Abstract/Course Outline: Many of our clients are confronted with metaphysical dilemmas: guilt, Punishment, Religious Doubts, a wish to connect to God. Yet, therapists have difficulty treating this subject with equanimity because it is emotionally charged and often brings up the therapist's own past wounds. In this course, a new approach will be discussed for processing and treating genuine religious concerns, strivings, and conflicts that clients present.
