THE DANGERS OF VAPING THC AND NICOTINE

Wednesday, May 11, 2022, 7:00 PM EDT
$9.99 Dr. Eric Bornstein

This course evaluates the evolving policy changes that affect all of all social workers, mental health counselors, psychiatric nurses as well as other health care professionals, as a result of the regional liberalization of cannabis and marijuana laws, specifically related to vaping Nicotine and Cannabinoids such as THC.

Operational and clinical recommendations are suggested in concordance with a critical examination of the effects of Nicotine, THC, CBD, and Synthetic Cannabis when used with vaping devices at high potency and how they potentially affect patient care in the nursing environment. The webinar identifies "red flags" and warning signs of high potency marijuana use in patients, as well as the guidelines for patient education and discussion concerning improper utilization of cannabis products with outpatient medical prescriptions.
