As an existentially-minded therapist, I am deeply committed to helping people find peace of mind, particularly as they navigate grief and end-of-life transitions. I understand the profound challenges of modern life, recognizing that many experience rushed living, lack of acceptance, and anxious or depressed moods, which can lead to unnecessary suffering, especially during times of significant loss and change.
My journey to becoming a therapist is deeply rooted in my personal experiences navigating adversity and loss. This, combined with my time living in diverse cultures, has cultivated in me a profound sense of compassion and allows me to connect with clients on a deeply human level, understanding their unique struggles during vulnerable times. My therapeutic approach is informed by the wisdom of thinkers like Victor Frankl, Irvin Yalom, Eva Eger, and Chassidic Masters, and I integrate mindfulness practices to help clients find grounding and meaning amidst their experiences of grief and end-of-life.
Over the years, I counseled cancer patients and their caregivers, worked in addiction recovery, and provided psychological first aid in crises. I am particularly attuned to the delicate and often overwhelming emotions associated with grief and end-of-life transitions, guiding individuals and families with compassion as they navigate these profound life passages. I believe that each client possesses an innate capacity for healing and growth, even amidst profound sorrow, and I view my role as a wise guide, helping individuals uncover and access their inner strength and resilience.
If you are seeking support in navigating the challenges of grief, coping with an impending loss, or adjusting to end-of-life transitions, I offer a deeply compassionate and skillful approach to help you achieve your therapeutic goals and find a path toward healing and peace. I am a strong advocate for my clients and can offer guidance and support during these sensitive times.
To learn more or schedule a consultation, please reach out to me today. I am ready to walk alongside you with compassion on your journey toward healing and finding meaning during times of loss and transition.
