Technology today is ubiquitous and inescapable. As mental health professionals and educators we must constantly evaluate the role that technology plays in the lives of the students and families we work with including its impact on social, psychological and behavioral functioning. COVID - 19 has presented an unwelcome yet necessary dependence on technology that is changing the landscape of home functioning and education.

This session will identify the challenges that the digital age presents and provide educators and mental health professionals with an better understanding of those challenges and how to reduce the anxiety surrounding excessive screen time and the era of COVID - 19.
