About the Presenter

Directed a social service/mental health agency for 26 years that included extensive work with victims of trauma, particularly family violence. Personal clinical experience as well as supervisory experience in the agency.

Review of significant biblical figures and the documented trauma in their lives - Binding of Isaac, Selling of Joseph, Abandonment of Moses
Relationship of somatic conversion, attempts at mastery, articulation difficulties to trauma stories and clinical experiences of clients
Keys to recovery work that integrate the biblical narratives and current conceptualizations
